performance & conversation about solitary confinement
A short play by Michael Clifton, written while he was incarcerated in Colorado. His solo performance grapples with hope in the darkest of places—solitary confinement in prison.
This is a 2pm matinee on Sunday, August 16 produced in collaboration with Buntport Theater and the Denver Public Library as part of the One Book One Denver initiative. It is thematically tied into Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Nickel Boys. No need to have read the book in advance. There will be copies available at the theater on a first-come basis.
